History

Founded in 1980 by NASCAR racing legend Buck Baker, the Buck Baker Racing School has been proudly instructing amateurs, budding-champions, and racing pros alike.

Nearly three decades ago, Buck recognized the need for a racing school to train future drivers, and to raise more interest in the sport as a whole. Over the years, our school has had the honor of training some of racing's best, including: Four-time Sprint Cup Champion, Jeff Gordon and 2002 Sprint Cup Champion, Tony Stewart, among others.

Our school has expanded to operate out of six racetracks in the southeast: the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, North Carolina Speedway,  Charlotte Motor Speedway and North Wilkesboro Speedway.
