ALLIE's corner:
We are trying to put together a date for Rockingham...If you would, please email me at allie@buckbaker.com and give me your feedback on this request I would greatly appreciate it. ie: time of the year, day of the week and your contact information. This information will be very helpful with our scheduling for this track. We did not go to "The Rock" in 2009 and would like to put together a list of people who are interested in this track. I am open for any other tracks of interest as well. Thank you for your assistance. UPDATE: We have 10 1/2 - Day or Let's Roll Basic Racing Courses and 10 Hot Laps, in August and another group in late April, interested in a Rockingham date. SEND IN YOUR INPUT ASAP! We all want to be back at "The Rock" in 2010.
Lets all pull together and be able to enjoy a good time at the North Carolina Speedway.
Call or email me and give your input on our schedules, tracks and events that you think we would all be interested in working with.
North Wilkesboro Speedway:
The Buck Baker Racing School is proud to be working with the SAI (Speedway Associates, Inc.) and NWS (North Wilkesboro Speedway).
EVENT DATE: Saturday, March 27 from 8 am to 5 pm and Sunday, March 28 from 1 pm to 5 pm.
The Cup Series was held at this 0.625 mile speedway for 48 years, ending in 1996, keeping it in a dormat state since then. In June of 2009, Buck Baker Racing School, held a Hot Lap Ride Along event at the North Wilkesboro Speedway, which helped prompt interest in the Speedway. SAI (Speedway Associates, Inc) and NWS (North Wilkesboro Speedway) along with the Buck Baker Racing School have agreed to hold 12 events in 2010. "We have had such a cold winter, which has left race fans with a major dose of cabin fever, so this date will make for the perfect opportunity for fans and enthusiastis to get on the track and get their motorsports fix, right after the 500 race weekend." (Jeff Boyer, President, Buck Baker Racing School). The South Carolina Outdoors Crew will be filming this historic event. We are looking forward to being apart of this plan to open up the speedway for the 2010 raing year. Come and be apart of the activities --- you will not regret it!
